If What Happend on your Outside also Happened on your Inside, would you still Tan with out UV Protection?

Remember this classic Anti-Smoking poster and campaign? It stated “If what happened on your inside happened on your outside, would you still smoke?” I thought this was brilliant marketing, at least towards the woman demograph. If smoking really made you look like that on the outside, I can’t see how there would be any women smokers.

So then why do so many of us intelligent and beautiful women continue to use tanning beds, and sun tanning methods without the proper UV protection when we know that sun damage affects our EXTERIOR much more so than our Interior?

Did you know that 90% of aging is caused by external factors such as has harmful UV sun exposure.

Did you know that UVA rays penetrate through clothes, windows, and clouds? So even on a cloudy day or while you are driving to work you are being aged!

Did you know that a healthy tan is a contradiction? Your skin tries to protect itself when exposed to harmful UV Rays. It does this by increasing melanin production and this is what causes your skin to become darker or “tan.” Therefore, our precious tans are really the result of our skin being damaged by the sun while our skin tries to heal!

SPF protection should be used year round, not just during the summer. Don’t burn up. Cover up. Your skin will thank you in 20 years!

PremierLook recommends Obagi’s Skin Protection SPF 35 of Sun Shield SPF 50. Stay Beautiful my Friends ;-)
